ReleasesIn every plan

A new beer, ready for everyone on the day

A release brings one or more new beers to all of a brewery's partners on the release date. Wholesalers with early access have them sooner, venues and shops hear the moment the beer is out, and everyone orders through the order link the brewery chose.

For the brewery

Plan it once, and every partner is ready on the day

No list of who to email when, no spreadsheet of what each wholesaler still misses. The release holds the date, who gets access when, and your message to partners.

  1. 1Ahead of timePlan the releaseAdd its beers and the release date; a draft does nothing yet. Once scheduled, the beers stay hidden until the date. Leave out a product, a partner or a whole partner type where it does not belong.
  2. 2Until the release dateEverything still missing, in one checklistYour release standard, each wholesaler's own standard and your data quality often ask for the same thing. You see it in one checklist, with who asks for it and a link to fix it, and you are reminded 14, 7 and 2 days before a wholesaler's access while its standard is not met.
  3. 3Days before, as agreedEarly access where you agreed itA wholesaler gets the release as many days ahead as your distribution agreement says, a venue hosting the launch through your partnership. What you change in the meantime reaches them as one summary.
  4. 4Release dateOut on the day, ready or notOn the date every other partner gets access and one email with your message, your image and your order link. You get a summary of who was told, and what is still missing.

Pour the new beer from day one

Bars, restaurants, hotels and shops that work with the brewery hear about a new beer the moment it is released, with everything they need to put it on the menu or the shelf.

  1. 1Before the releaseThrough the brewery you work withOnce the brewery and you work together on BeerCollab, its releases reach you. Hosting the launch? The brewery can give you early access through your partnership.
  2. 2Release dateOne email on the release dateThe brewery's own message and image, and the new beers in your account with their allergens, photos and details.
  3. 3From the release dateOrder the way the brewery prefersThe email's button takes you to where the brewery takes orders: its own webshop, or the wholesaler it delivers through. BeerCollab takes no orders itself.

Hi Café de Hoek,

Orders

Orders go where the brewery wants them

The brewery decides where its partners order: in its webshop, through a B2B portal or with a wholesaler. BeerCollab shows that order link and counts the clicks, and takes no orders itself, now or later.

  • One order link, or one per beer or product

The brewery sets one order link for its whole catalogue and, where it likes, a link of its own per beer or product: to its webshop, a B2B portal or a wholesaler's ordering site.

  • An action link for the release

    Optional

For pre-orders or a launch offer, with the period the offer runs. This link is in the release emails and next to the new beers.

  • Clicks, counted per channel

From the emails, from BeerCollab and through share links, so the brewery sees which channel works. BeerCollab counts clicks, never orders.

Questions about releases

Which plan includes releases?
Every plan, the free one too, for breweries and wholesalers alike.
Who sees a new beer before its release date?
Only the brewery, and the partners it agreed early access with: a wholesaler through its distribution agreement, a venue through its partnership. They see that the beer is in early access, and that its information can still change.
What if a product is not ready on the day?
The release goes out on its date anyway, and the brewery gets a summary of what is still missing for whom. A product that should not go yet can be left out of the release.
Can partners pre-order in BeerCollab?
No. A pre-order goes through the release's action link, to the page the brewery chose for it. BeerCollab shows the button and counts the clicks.
Where does a wholesaler's early access come from?
From its distribution agreement with the brewery: how many days before the release date is one of the agreement's terms. How distribution agreements work →
