Open the Excel form a wholesaler sent and ask Claude or ChatGPT in Excel to fill it in. The agent fills it with your product information from BeerCollab, next to the wholesaler's own labels, and marks what is still missing with a link to where you add it.
Insider Preview: open to every brewery on BeerCollab while we build it further. Your feedback decides what comes next.
BeerCollab knows your products, your distribution agreements and the templates of the wholesalers you supply. Your agent asks BeerCollab for exactly what the form needs, and writes it into the workbook.
You: Fill in this form with the product data from BeerCollab.
This is Example Wholesale's form, for Blond – crate 24 × 33 cl. I filled in 21 cells and marked 3: the original gravity is not on BeerCollab yet, the purchase price comes with a distribution agreement, and the VAT rate is yours to fill in.
Add the original gravity on BeerCollab →Illustration — an example form and brewery, not a wholesaler's actual template.
Many wholesalers have an Excel form of their own, and every brewery they work with fills it in. The agent keeps each form exactly as the wholesaler made it, and fills it from one source.
The agent colours the cells it could not fill in, the same way in every form, and lists what is left on a sheet of its own, “BeerCollab – to complete”, with a link per row. Both are temporary: the agent takes them off once the form is complete, and always before it goes to the wholesaler.
Set it up in the BeerCollab app, under Organisation → API & webhooks → AI agent in Excel. The page gives you every value to copy, and ticks each step off as soon as it is done.
Made on the page, in one click. The key can only read, and is shown once: store it like a password.
As a connector in Claude for Excel and Claude Desktop, as an MCP server in ChatGPT, or with one command in Claude Code. There is no sign-in: the key goes in a header, and the page shows the exact value to paste.
Open the wholesaler's form, or a blank sheet, and ask the agent in your own words. For example:
Adding a connector of your own depends on your Claude or ChatGPT plan. The setup page has the steps for Claude for Excel, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT and any other agent that reads an MCP configuration.
You use your own Claude or ChatGPT, under your own account and its settings. BeerCollab only answers the questions your agent asks about your products. It does not store your forms, and it trains no AI models.
BeerCollab trains no AI models: not on your products, not on your forms and not on your feedback. Your agent's own provider may use chats to improve its models by default. If you would rather it did not, switch that off in your agent's privacy settings.
To recognise a form, the agent sends BeerCollab the text in its cells. BeerCollab keeps that for two hours, so the agent does not have to send it twice, and keeps nothing of it after that. The workbook itself stays with you.
The key can only read, and only what your own team can see on BeerCollab. The agent never changes anything in BeerCollab: it writes in your workbook, and nowhere else.
Revoke the key under API & webhooks, and the agent is disconnected at once. To tick off the setup steps, BeerCollab notes when a key first connects and is first used, and the name of the agent. Nothing else.
BeerCollab only receives a message when you ask the agent to pass feedback on to the team. It is used to improve BeerCollab, never to train an AI model.
No email to write and no form to find. Tell the agent in the chat what is not right, and ask it to pass that on to the BeerCollab team. The agent sends your own words, with the cells, labels and values it concerns, and the team picks it up the same working day.
Every message helps: it is how we fill the forms we know better, and learn which forms to support next.
The advised retail price in this form is not right: pass that on to the BeerCollab team.
Passed on to the BeerCollab team, with your words, cell C38 and the value I wrote there. The team has it and will handle it.
The AI agent in Excel is in Insider Preview. This is next, so it fills in more of your partners' forms, with less left for you.
Send us a wholesaler's form, or let the agent propose the mapping it made with you. From then on, the form is recognised for every brewery.
Fields such as the VAT rate, the outer case and the billing unit, converting units, and the wholesaler's own layout on a blank sheet.
Sign in with your BeerCollab account instead of pasting a key, and find BeerCollab in Claude's and ChatGPT's connector directories.
Once you agree in the chat, the agent records the fill and gives the wholesaler access to the products.
Schedule a release, and the agent fills in the form of every wholesaler in it, for each new beer. What a form still needs lands on the release's checklist, and the filled forms are ready the moment early access starts.
Twenty minutes with the app open: we connect the agent together and fill in a form from one of your wholesalers.
