The short version

  • We set no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
  • One strictly necessary cookie is set for thirty seconds when you sign in, to hand your session to the application.
  • Two third-party services are loaded on some pages, and they are named below.

This summary is here to be read. The sections below are the version that counts.

1. What we set

One cookie, and only at one moment. When you sign in, the platform writes a short-lived token cookie so that the application can pick up your session from this website. It is set on the beercollab.com domain, expires after thirty seconds, and is marked Secure and SameSite=Lax.

It is strictly necessary for signing in to work, which is why it does not require consent. It carries no profile and is not used to recognise you later.

2. What we do not set

No analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting pixels, no social media trackers, and no cross-site profiling of any kind. We do not run Google Analytics or an equivalent on this website.

3. Third parties on these pages

Calendly. The booking widget is used for the “book a walkthrough” links, and its stylesheet currently loads on every page of this website. That means your browser contacts Calendly and Calendly can see your IP address. If you open the booking widget itself, Calendly sets its own cookies, governed by Calendly’s own cookie policy.

Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set a strictly necessary cookie to keep the service secure and available.

Sentry receives technical error reports from the application, and Hetzner hosts it; neither places cookies in your browser from this website.

4. Managing cookies

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie described above will stop sign-in from working; blocking everything else has no effect on this website, because there is nothing else.
